by Teresa Grimaldo
Third Prize, Poetry
Female juices
glisten on black skin.
Iridescent beads of moisture
cluster on prickly mustache.
The pungent scent
of succulent sweat
hangs thick in stifling air.
A fan whirs
as she purrs
On a blazing Sunday afternoon.
